Step aboard for a full-day experience on a comfortable sailing boat as we head south from Gran Harbour Marina, embracing the sea, the wind, and the wonders of the marine environment. A key highlight of the day is our Marine Life Spotting session, with a focus on observing bottlenose dolphins. While sightings cannot be guaranteed, if dolphins are encountered, guests will have the unique opportunity to contribute directly to ongoing scientific research. Photographs will be taken for photo-identification, an essential method for studying local dolphin populations.

A relaxed sailing experience in the heart of the Ionian Sea, combining island hopping, swimming and shared life on board.

Available in different itineraries and durations, starting from one week.

Starting and ending in Corfu, Greece, this experience is designed for guests who want to enjoy sailing at an easy and enjoyable pace, exploring Greek islands and coastal bays while sharing life on board.

The Ionian Sea offers sheltered waters and short distances between islands, creating ideal conditions for relaxed navigation, frequent swimming stops and time ashore. Depending on the chosen itinerary and duration, each journey balances sailing, exploration and moments of rest, always shaped by weather conditions and group preferences.

Life on board follows the natural rhythm of the sea and the group. Days are shaped by weather conditions, route choices and shared decisions taken with the skipper during daily briefings. Evenings may be spent at anchor in quiet bays or in port, discovering local villages, food and Greek island culture.

This experience focuses on participation and awareness rather than performance. Guests are welcome to take part in sailing activities and daily routines according to their interests, in a safe, informal and supportive environment.

For guests interested in longer offshore navigation, it may be possible, on request, to join the delivery leg from Gozo to Corfu. This option depends on timing and weather conditions, and is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

This is our entry-level class, where you learn the basics of sailing in a controlled, safe and enjoyable environment, with your own instructor sailing with you. No prior experience is needed.

These three-hour lessons, held on a Sunday morning, cover the knowledge required to get afloat under supervision and provide a basic understanding of boat-handling techniques.

You can take as many of these lessons as you need until you feel confident enough to progress to the Bug class.

Start Yachting with Confidence: The RYA Start Yachting Sail Cruising Course is a perfect introduction if you want to learn sailing beginner—and discover the joy of yacht handling from day one. This course is offered by Sailing School Malta, the leading RYA nautical training center in Malta.

Designed for complete novices, this two-day course gives you a hands-on experience before moving on to more advanced training like Competent Crew. It offers a relaxed schedule that will give you a taste of what yachting is about and whether you’d enjoy it. You’ll sail to another pretty ports and bays along Malta coast. You’ll anchor for lunch each day and enjoy the freedom of being able to swim from your own yacht in the crystal clear blue water. Children in particular love this.

Over a weekend (or weekday, typically Monday–Tuesday), our friendly RYA instructors guide you through fundamental skills—from steering to sail trim and ropework—while making sure you feel relaxed and confident.

By the end of the course, you'll start yachting like a pro, having tried helm, sails, knots, and onboard safety practices.

After earning your Start Yachting certificate, you can fast-track to the RYA Competent Crew course in just three days or two weekends.

The Scuba Rangers program is designed to introduce children to scuba diving in a safe and playful environment.

Introduction To Wing Foiling Course 

Wing foiling in Malta is a dynamic and rapidly growing water sport that offers an exciting way to connect with the elements. Whether you're drawn to it for the thrill of gliding effortlessly over the water or the sense of freedom it provides, it's a fantastic addition to the world of water-based activities. So, if you're looking for a new and adventurous way to experience the wind and waves, wing foiling might be your next great adventure on the water.

This course is an introduction to Wing Foiling. The course is 3 lessons of 2 hour and it is structured very well in order to make it easy to understand and get going in a short time.

1 hour in which we will do basic theory with equipment preparation plus a practical lesson on land on how to control the wing.

1 hour Sailing upwind, downwind, turns.

Lessons 3:
2 hours practice on board with the foil, first flights.

Part Two - Water Session 1 (31-60min): - Power and depowering the Wing, starting position (kneeling to water start ) wing and board position in the water, basic sailing on non foiling board (sup) and basic jibe.

Part Three - Water Session 2 (61-120min): Introduction to sailing upwind, sailing crosswind and downwind,  and turning (tacks and jibes), setting the foil, learning to wing on a foilboard , pumping the wing to pick up speed and first flights

Windsurfing Single Lesson (2hours)

An easy, faster, and better way to learn windsurfing with the new secret formula to teach the sport. Windsurfing lessons are explained in the best way possible that is suitable for everyone.

The lesson is structured in a way that you manage to understand faster and makes you enjoy the experience better.

We start with the theory of how the wind works, the equipment, the position on the board, how to counterbalance the sail, and sailing directions. We also explain how to pull the sail up using your body weight rather than muscle and go into the start position.

After that, we hit the water where you will see a demonstration of what was explained during the theory part than it will be your turn to go up on the board and practice the start position. When you manage to get the balance and position on the board fixed, we move to the next step.

In this step, you will be shown how to turn around both sides (tack) against the wind, and it will be your turn to practice until you master it.

The next step will be sailing. You will be shown how to move from the start position to the sailing position and put yourself in balance in order to sail away. This will take some effort but it will feel amazing. The feeling of freedom to go around and come back for the very first time.

Day 1

We start the lesson by warming up and practicing what we learned on days 1 and 2. We Continue the course by covering the easy part, Going in favor of the wind (downwind). Here you will have a short theory session on land before we hit the water where you will see a demonstration of how to sail downwind and turn (jibe). 

The duration of this course can be taken either for 3 lessons of 2 hours or 2 lessons of 3 hours.

This program allows limited penetration within the daylight zone into wrecks with an overhead environment. The training required for this type of diving includes overhead buoyancy control, new finning techniques, optional laying a safety line, and the proper use of a dive light.

This program consists of:

• 2 dives if a Wreck certification is already held

• 4 dives if you have no prior Wreck certification (can be done over 2 half days)

You will earn the SSI Advanced Wreck Diving Specialty certification after completion.

Malta is a world-famous wreck diving destination. During your training we may visit WWII wrecks such as the HMS Maori or more modern wrecks like the TUG2 and P31, and many more.

Overview
React Right is an emergency response training program offered as a scuba speciality. It covers fundamental techniques for assessing and responding to diving and medical emergencies, combining theory and practical elements as outlined by the Sailor.

The ocean is filled with fascinating and beautiful fish of every shape and size.
This specialty program teaches the skills and concepts required to identify the common families of Caribbean, Indo-Pacific, and Red Sea reef fish.

The program includes 2 dives in the Mediterranean Sea to apply fish identification skills learned during the academic portion of the course.

This specialty program introduces the key concepts required to identify coral species and understand their role within marine ecosystems.

This program provides the skills and concepts required to safely and comfortably dive while using a dry suit.

Program scope
As described by the Sailor, the training covers the special requirements for dry suit diving, how to use the equipment, the benefits of a dry suit, and how to deal with emergency situations that are unique to dry suit diving.

• 1 confined water session

• 2 dives in the sea

Certification outcome
Upon completion, participants earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty certification.

Overview
This program teaches the skills needed to dive with an underwater camera, and provides the knowledge and experience required to properly use, maintain, and store the equipment.

Overview
This program focuses on improving buoyancy control to increase comfort in the water, reduce breathing gas consumption, and move more efficiently above the ocean floor.

This Experience introduces divers to wreck diving techniques, focusing on safe exploration around wrecks.
The program develops awareness, planning, and control skills specific to wreck environments, without penetration.

The training consists of 2 dives and leads to a Wreck Diver certification, issued by PADI or SSI, depending on the selected Quest.

Program scope

• Knowledge and techniques for wreck diving

• Safe navigation and orientation around wrecks

• Understanding potential risks associated with wreck environments

Certification outcome

Location
Malta is a well-known wreck diving destination.
During the training, dives may take place on historic or modern wrecks such as HMS Maori, TUG2, or P31, depending on conditions.

Overview
Many exciting dive sites are located in deeper water. Without proper training, this kind of diving puts you at risk.
This Experience provides the ability to plan and conduct safe, comfortable dives beyond 18 meters.

Program scope
The Deep Diver Specialty focuses on planning and techniques for deeper dives, as described by the Sailor.

Structure
This program involves 3 dives.

Certification outcome
Upon completion, participants earn the Deep Diving Specialty certification (PADI or SSI, depending on the selected Quest).

Overview
A Scuba Skills Update is a guided refresher designed to review and practice key scuba skills learned during previous training.
It is intended for certified divers who want to regain confidence and comfort in the water before continuing their diving activities.

• Start your day: 7:45 AM – gear up and complete paperwork

• Morning session: Two incredible dives

• Return: Around 1:00 PM – relax, enjoy a coffee, and log your underwater escapades

• Optional afternoon dives: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
