Fish Identification (SSI)

Overview
The ocean is filled with fascinating and beautiful fish of every shape and size.
This specialty program teaches the skills and concepts required to identify the common families of Caribbean, Indo-Pacific, and Red Sea reef fish.

Structure
The program includes 2 dives in the Mediterranean Sea to apply fish identification skills learned during the academic portion of the course.

Certification outcome
Upon completion, participants earn the SSI Fish Identification Specialty certification.
