React Right (Emergency Response Training)

Overview
React Right is an emergency response training program offered as a scuba speciality. It covers fundamental techniques for assessing and responding to diving and medical emergencies, combining theory and practical elements as outlined by the Sailor.

Program scope
As described by the Sailor, the program covers the following basic components:

• Primary assessment and stabilization techniques

• First aid and CPR skills

• Optional components: oxygen administration in diving emergencies and automated external defibrillation basics

Students who complete this program earn an SSI or PADI React Right specialty certification, depending on the selected Quest.
