Discover Scuba Diving / Try Scuba Diving / Basic Diver

Overview
A fun and easy introduction to exploring the underwater world.
While not a certification course, this Experience allows participants to take their first steps into scuba diving by learning the basic concepts and skills.

If participants later choose to complete a PADI or SSI Open Water course with the same Sailor, the Discover Scuba Diving experience is acknowledged as credit toward the course.

Program structure
As described by the Sailor, the program includes:

• Short theory lesson

• Skill practice in a pool or shallow, calm waters

• One or two open water dives, depending on the selected Quest

Duration
Approximately 2–3 hours, depending on conditions and selected option.

• Minimum age: 10
