Our purpose is to dismantle the perceptions of the marine environment as an exclusive niche or a mere tourist commodity, inviting all to discover its profound depths and embrace a truly different world of authentic, accessible engagement.
Our Story
Our story, like many great journeys, began with a pivotal connection. It was amidst the extraordinary beauty and vibrant marine life of Malta that we were fortunate enough to be truly brought closer to the sea. Thanks to Pietro, who involved me in his sailing excursions, I experienced firsthand how accessible and captivating this world could be, shedding its distant allure. This profound connection then ignited my passion to obtain a nautical license and immerse myself deeper in sea exploration.
It was during this time that a fundamental insight emerged:
"I understood that true engagement with the sea, beyond theory, often depends on opportunities and connections. Not everyone is as fortunate as I was, to have a dear friend, skipper and enthusiast like Pietro, ready to share his boat and his deep love for the sea and nature, guiding me and helping me gain experiences."
This invaluable initial exposure and subsequent practical experience, often hard to come by, became the spark that ignited the BeSailor mission to offer similar pathways to others at 360°.
